Filipinos are no doubt to be a foodie. This pandemic won’t stop us to be creative especially on our cuisine. Here are some of the treats you might actually have before at your home. You can try it and probably sell it; we Filipinos are known to be “Madiskarte” especially this time of the pandemic.

Rellenong Manok (Stuffed Chicken)
This dish is not a joke, it’s a hard recipe but it’s worthy for every occasion. It’s perfect for every table! The preparations may give you a hard time since you have to debone the cavity of a whole chicken, carefully pulling its bones using a small knife.
Here’s the list of Ingredients.
- 1 large whole chicken, deboned
- 400g minced pork
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 3 pcs chorizo, finely chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 stalks spring onions, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp pickle relish
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 pcs hard-boiled eggs
- Salt & pepper

After deboning your chicken, you have to prepare the stuffing, mix all the ingredients except the boiled eggs, put inside the chicken, and tie up the legs to close it. Place the chicken in a roasting rack and put it on your oven at 180C for an hour and a half. Enjoy!
